Privacy Policy

Who we are

Faceless Studio is made by Squished Pixels ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the Faceless Studio iOS app handles your information. If you have any questions, contact us at pixelssquished@gmail.com.

Data we collect

None. Faceless Studio does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no analytics or advertising SDKs, and no servers of our own. We cannot see your videos, scripts, voiceovers, or anything else you create in the app.

Everything stays on your device.

All of your content is created, processed, and stored locally on your iPhone:

  • Videos and voiceovers you import, record, or create are stored only in the app's local storage and, when you choose to export, in your Photos library.

  • Speech transcription of recorded or uploaded voiceovers is performed on-device using Apple's Speech framework. Audio is not sent to us.

  • Scripts and projects in your Library are saved only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

Device permissions

Faceless Studio asks for permissions only when a feature needs them, and only uses them for that feature:

  • Camera — to record video clips, if you choose to.

  • Microphone — to record your own voiceover, if you choose to.

  • Speech recognition — to generate captions from recorded or uploaded voiceovers, processed on-device.

  • Photos — to import footage and to save your finished videos.

You can decline or revoke any of these in iOS Settings at any time; the related features simply won't be available.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Faceless Studio Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

Faceless Studio does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this Policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and the effective date above before those changes take effect. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
